Therapist-led. Community-centered.
SD Mommy & Me is a 7-week, in-person, therapist-led support group designed for moms navigating the transition to motherhood during baby’s first year. More than a parenting class or playgroup, it’s a place to slow down, reflect, and connect with other local moms who understand exactly what this season feels like.
Together, we’ll explore the universal experiences of new motherhood, from shifting identities and changing relationships to postpartum emotions, decision fatigue, returning to work, and learning to trust your own instincts. Our conversations are evidence-based, judgment-free, and focused on supporting you, not prescribing the “right” way to parent.
Through our ‘Start Together & End Together’ format, each cohort grows alongside one another, creating a trusted community where meaningful conversations turn into lasting friendships. You’ll leave with more than practical tools and insight; you’ll leave with a local support system that extends well beyond the final session.

WHO:
Open to Moms + Little’s 0-12 mos.
Sorry, Dads! With discussions centered on the maternal experience, SD Mommy & Me Groups are designed specifically for new moms and their babies.
Most moms join when their babies are between 5 and 20 weeks old, but all moms with babies under 1 year are welcome.
A little ahead. A little behind. Exactly what you need. When every baby is the exact same age, everyone is facing the exact same struggle. Our intentionally mixed-age groups create space for reassurance, perspective, and shared wisdom from moms just a few weeks ahead.
Local, New Moms
Skip the hassle of mom-dating. Joining a San Diego Mommy and Me group is an easy way to surround yourself with local San Diego moms and grow your community from the very beginning.
These moms will become your lifelines, as the connections you make here will turn into playdates, coffee meetups, birthday parties, preschool recommendations, and lifelong friendships.
FAQ: Second-time+ moms are welcome to join!
Start Together. End Together.
Groups meet in person and are packaged as a 7-week series. This structure gives each group of new moms the opportunity to build trust, share experiences, and foster meaningful, authentic connections.
The result is a close-knit community and friendships that last far beyond the first year.
FAQ: If you have to miss a group or two, follow-up emails highlighting discussion topics and resources are sent each week.
Likewise, from the start, group moms are connected and regularly interact outside and between groups.
Small Group Sizes = Space is Limited
SMALL groups make a BIG difference. San Diego Mommy and Me Groups are kept small to protect the quality of your experience (max 12 moms).
By keeping our groups small, every mom has the opportunity to participate in meaningful discussions, ask questions, and receive personalized support.
FAQ: Snag your seat early, as demand often exceeds supply and every series is expected to sell out.
